I told my daughter ages ago about Babo in Korean meaning idiot/stupid as she and her friends at college call each other that and she calls her boyfriend's that too. She found it funny but still says it, with the boyfriend I think she actually means it in the Korean form though haha.

안녕하세요! Hello there Mr. & Mrs. Gwon and Mr.Daniel. :)

I've been learning Korean for almost 3 and 1/2 years now and since I learnt the word "대박", it gets so addictive till it has become something I use almost everyday.

"야, 진짜 대박이다!" , "오머,*jawdrop* 대박!" "우와,대박이네!"

haha!! Anyhow, just wanna say that Korean is the most precious and special language among the languages I speak! 선생님들, 화이팅! (^.<)/

So enjoyed this one! It is funny how different words can just be fun to say. I studied linguistics in my undergrad and my favorite word is from a Mexican Indian language (I can't remember which one) - /wa'o'ha'o'yo'o/ "don't laugh." In English, I have to agree with Hugh and say "stupid." That's my dog's nickname and we usually say it /tupid/. :)

Question: Are there words in Korean that are hard for you as native speakers to say? As a native English speaker, I have the worst time saying "brewery," so much so that I avoid it if at all possible.
