Maybe ‘Wikipedia’ isn’t the best source of knowledge but listen to this: “Pizza, Italian pronunciation: [‘pittsa] is an oven-baked flat BREAD” LOOOOOOL “typically topped with tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings.” Ahhahahah =D I think Han has lost on this one… hehe….
Sure it’s bread! It’s a kind of “hot sandwich” 😛 Mat, your surname sounds as if it was Polish.. do you have Polish roots??
especially if its calzone! lol Magda, I thought that about Mat’s name too! Actually first time I thought it was your brother! (i wasnt wearing my glasses! haha) 😀
Cassie, dear, actually, by seer coincidence, my brother happens to share my surname… xD (lova ya! 😀 :D). I thought that “Mat” is the abbreviation for “Mateusz” which is a Polish name, too. And as far as I remember, he sent Nic&Hugh “Ptasie Mleczko”, which, again, is a Polish delicacy 🙂 Mat… ARE YOU POLISH?? 😀 And as far as calzone goes, you’re right, Cassie, calzone is probably the most “sandwichy” pizza 🙂 did you know that it’s name actually derives from the word “calza” which means “a sock”? The suffix “-one” (calzONE) is added to nouns to denote “a huge one”; so calzone is “a huge sock” =) (yummy xD). Okay, the sermon is over, you may go in peace 😛 😉
Hahahaha!! Magda you crack me up!! I know… I am BLIND!! haha. oh… now i want calzone. mmmm sock food.
mmm sock food sounds yummyyy xD
Good guess 😀 Tak jestem Polakiem 🙂 Ahahah… Cassie you’re funny 😀 as Magdalena has pointed out, siblings usually share the same surname 😀 hahaha… and for the best Calzone I would recommend to visit Gallipoli (Apulia/Italy) freaking delicious =D yum….
Yaaaay Poland!!!! 😛 How did you end up on MyKoreanHusband, “brother”? 😀 and talking about pizzas – after trying a pizza in Naples, I don’t want any other *-* But after all, Naples is the homeland of pizza, so no wonder they make it so delicious… 🙂 oh and one more thing… Ptasie Mleczko – great choice! 😀
I couldn’t agree with you more “sister” 😀 Italian pizza is the best (my favorite is quattro stagioni – semplicemente deliziosa! 🙂 I found out about MKH while reading some comments on EYK (I think it might have been Simon’s?) Anyway I was like; I need to check this blog out and to my surprise I absolutely fell in love with it 🙂 All the comics and the heartwarming and yet at the same time funny stories that Nic and Hugh share with us everyday so often make my day. I think it’s super lovely dovely nice of them that they are willing to share their lives with us, so yea no wonder that I absolutely adore these two guys (including Han, Sophie and Alice I guess that’s 5 in total lol) anywaaays… Hehe thanks but after all, I think that Nic didn’t like it so much… but then again she didn’t grow up with this type of marshmallows so that’s totally understandable 🙂
Yes, exactly; I remember the same reaction when I offered ptasie mleczko to my Italian friends… they were like “wtf is this?” 😛 But you are right, it has a very specific texture so not everyone must like it… (even though for me it’s incomprehensible how one can possibly NOT love it ?!?! :D) By the way… parli pure italiano? 😛 (semplicemente deliziosa! ^^ hehe)
Parlo un po’ d’italiano ma non sono fluente :/ (zabrakło mi wytrwałości żeby się nauczyć – tylko pół roku się uczyłem)
awww! I want to speak Polish and Italian with you guys too. *sadface* hmmm, Cześć! … Ciao! (thanks google translate haha)
Haha… so cute! xD
that’s cool, Cassie 😀 cześć and ciao are a perfect starting point ^^ and how I wish I could speak Korean like you do !! *_*
włoski piękny język… 🙂 szkoda zaprzepaścić 🙂 ti faccio un corso “e-learning”, ok? 😀 hehe
MAGDA!! feed me these marshmallow things when i visit. I shall be a willing judge/test subject. haha.
haha sure! you will test those and many more 😛
Were you sorted on Pottermore?? I’m a devout HP fan! (I refuse to read other popular series Hunger Games, Twilight, Divergent but also because I’m just not that interested anymore in long series). I’m a Ravenclaw…which I was expecting but didn’t want! LOL.
Oh, wow! The post office said it would take about a month for the package to get to Korea, so I didn’t expect it to go through so quickly. I’m glad you liked everything, especially the letters 🙂 Oh, I’m also a Hufflepuff, according to both Pottermore and many other “sorters” ^_^ I feel like Mr. Gwon would be in Gryffindor, but I’m not the best judge of that, haha. (Oh, lemon heads are only a bit sour, so he doesn’t have much to worry about).
Thank you so much! Yay hufflepuffs! I haven’t thought much about what house he would be in… maybe I should make him do it on Pottermore.
A lot of people have said that the Post Office has said about a month but it’s only been a week or 2. I think they must just overestimate.
Im a Hufflepuff too! yay!!! Hufflepuff FTW!! 😀 (its the best anyway)
I’m not a huge fan of HP but you all make me want to sign up on Pottermore just to find out where I belong xD
You should definitely have him take the Pottermore test ^^ I know of a couple really accurate ones that aren’t Pottermore, but they’re much longer. Then again, I suppose it would take the same amount of time as it would to play through enough of the game to be sorted.
Perhaps they do. Which is perfectly fine–it just threw me when I saw “Hogwarts Letters” in the title, so I thought “hold on–who stole my idea!” haha 🙂
